One of the oldest names in mountain biking charges into 2014 with the latest technology -- the Breezer Repack Pro. Featuring the "best of both worlds" 27.5 inch wheel size, the Repack Pro is ready to handle whatever you can. 160mm of plush travel in both the front and rear shocks, ready to soak up the impact of rocks and roots with ease. While the light weight 6066 aluminum frame is stiff enough to climb efficiently and durable enough to handle whatever you want to throw at it.
With the Repack, Breezer Bikes isn't hedging its bets. They are making one full suspension bicycle and it's designed with every kind of ride imaginable in mind. In order to develop a suspension linkage capable of this kind of performance, Breezer partnered with the genius engineers at the Sotto Group. The Sotto Group has made suspension platforms for many of the most popular full suspension bikes on the market and have brought all of their experience and engineering prowess to bear on their new MLink design. This design features a longer main link and a pivot placed in the center of the chain stay to reduce stress on the bearings and pivots, eliminate over-center issues, reduce friction, and maximize smooth, plush travel.
The MLink doesn't do all of the work on its own. For the Repack Pro, it's paired with one of the best shocks on the market -- the Fox Float CTD. The Fox Float CTD shock utilizes Fox's latest "Climb -- Trail -- Descend" easy adjust dial to give you easy setting adjustments while riding. This is matched in the front by the Fox 34 Float 27.5 CTD fork. The 34 Float has 34mm stanchions to provide additional stiffness for the larger wheels without adding the weight of 36mm stanchions. It also has Fox's CTD system for easy on trail adjustments.
Breezer then took on the challenge of making the Repack Pro more affordable without any major sacrifices in performance. With that in mind, they selected Shimano's versatile SLX components to lead the charge. A wide range 11-36t cassette pairs with the SLX double crankset to provide you with a perfect selection of gears for any course. The Shadow Plus XT rear derailleur provides perfect shifts while keeping chain slap to a minimum. 180mm rotors are squeezed by Shimano's M615 hydraulic brakes giving you the control you need to go fast when you want to and those rotors are mounted on custom wheels featuring an SLX rear hub and WTB Frequency rims.
If you're looking for a "do it all" bike with a balanced approach to budget and performance, look no further than the Breezer Repack Pro.
